To create a brand and design for a range of wines that would showcase the vision and dream of Jules Taylor's own label wines.
In 2001 winemaker Jules Taylor approached me to help create a brand and design for her own range of wines. With many vintages abroad and at home behind her, it was an ideal time to launch her own range of wines and give her the opportunity to showcase her abilities. We very soon came to the conclusion it would be fitting to use her own name as the brand name.
She wanted a design that was both classical and minimalist. A label that would not date and would work anywhere in the world. The logo created is equally minimalist, the strong vertical lines of the 'J' and 'T' suggest the posts that hold up the vines and the soft forms of the 'w' the tendrils of the vines they support.
15 years on and her global brand is continuing to grow. Jules has gone on to produce many wines of award-winning character that are enjoyed all over the world.
